Book Share Lunch
The Book Share group enjoyed a rather delicious lunch and most entertaining time together today at the Prince William pub. We discussed pretty much everything, including the book a little bit, the road closure, our Mums, the NHS, Dolly Parton’s boobs and some of us ended up with a cocktail! (Guess who chose the Pornstar?)

For those members who did not receive our December email!
(Incidentally, if you didn’t receive it, please will you let me know? Then I can try to work out why not! - most likely I have made an error in copying your email address from the contact list! )
Dear All
We’ve just finalised the arrangements for the Christmas meeting! There are some things you need to know before you come to it. It was great seeing so many members last month and look forward to seeing you all again. We have a special entertainer lined up. As a clue, it’s not a magician.
Firstly, the raffle this month will be special, so the cost of raffle tickets, just for this month, will be £1. Once you see the prizes you may want more than 1 ticket, so be prepared.
Please wear a Christmas Jumper (if all else fails, wear red and pin on some tinsel or a Christmas decoration).
We’re inviting people to the committee meetings in the new year, some information about the committee will be on the tables.
There will be mulled wine or a soft drink available. Please bring a suitable drinking vessel. There will be mince pies rather than biscuits with a vegan and gluten free option available.
For those who are going on a theatre trip – please bring £12 for the panto (or pay by BACS ref panto)
For those going to the New Year Meal on 26th January who haven’t yet paid please bring £25 (or pay by BACS ref NY meal)
Remember to bring your entry for a garden flower competition.
