Once we had laid the strands of wool to create our picture we had to smooth and then knock it about in order for the fibres to mesh together and shrink. This latter process involved a degree of violence in some cases! (Editor’s note: sorry, but this doesn’t appear to have loaded as a video clip! I shall consult some experts to see if I can remedy this)
