DFWI Spring Council Meeting

You missed an excellent day, folks! It was superb! The first speaker was the Black Farmer, who gave an entertaining and very inspiring talk. I thought, ‘how is the afternoon speaker going to top that?’
Well! Christina Lamb, the chief foreign correspondent for The Times was enthralling. In response to a question from the floor about what we, the WI could do to help the women Christina told us about, she recommended simply sending messages to let them know we are thinking of them - they haven’t been forgotten.
