Storybook Dads
Storybook dads was set up to help fathers and mothers in prison stay in touch with their children because many are in prisons too far away for visits. Children haven’t committed the crime and many are confused as to why mummy or daddy can’t come home. Prisoners read bedtime stories on CD or DVD. Many of these children suffer failure at school and a lot have mental problems, the story times help children to still feel loved by the missing parent.
This is a meeting not to be missed.
