Book Worm and Book Share this week

 Book Worm, from Rebecca

This month's book was enjoyed by all and found to be one of those ones that will stay with you. All sorts of issues discussed including nature vs nature, family dynamics and what can we do to help these people?

Other booked recommended this month:-
The color Purple by Alice Walker
A terrible kindness by Jo Browning Wroe and
Miss Bensons Beetle by Rachel Joyce (with I think Bookshare had recently but enjoyed this month by me!)
If you'd like to join us we still have spaces in our friendly group. This month's book is "The bread the devil knead" by Lisa Allen-Agostini

Book Share from Jayne Stone

Love Bookshare. Lovely afternoon, complete with chocolate profiteroles and cream. diet, what diet?
Book to discuss was Testament of Youth. Not universally liked but some positive comments.
Bookshare also discussed theatre - the literary festival and the murder mystery tea (8/7 if you’d like to join us), and TV Agatha Christie’s England (ITVX) the Black Death one by Lucy Worsley, one by Dan Snow.
Having decided the book for the month was of its time we were able to talk about so many other books. The second sight of Zachery Cloudesley (Sean Lusk), Mrs England by Stacey Halls, Still Life by Sarah Winman (better known for When God was a Rabbit).
Guilty Man by Helen H Durrant

If we read everything recommended in Bookshare we’d have enough for the year.
Series by Nora Roberts, Lynn Truss, Richard Osmond, SJ Bennet, Adam Kay, Adriana Trigiani
