! Wow! Such cakes! what a fabulous afternoon! Over half our members turned out to have a walk around Brixham looking carefully about them for the answers to Lynn and Hilary’s -fiendishly clever in some cases - treasure hunt. It was very warm for such activity, but teams were very keen indeed to complete in good time! Three teams ended up with the same score, so it went to the tie breaker photo which best represents Brixham. Norma, Sue Martin and Trish McCallum were the winners with Aldene Martin, Jill Haslam, Margaret T and Carol R winning the coveted wooden spoons! Well done to all of the teams who did a great job! Those who stayed behind had a brain teasing quiz on Brixham!

Huge thanks to Lynn for her planning, preparations and organisation. Much appreciation to all of the cake makers - they were delicious! Perhaps we might have some baking tips and recipe swaps one day? Someone kindly left one recipe which I shall post.
