A great printing technique to try here:

Join popular Virtual Village Hall printmaker Rachel Moore as she introduces us to the art of collagraphy (also known as collography). In this technique, a print is made by gluing different materials onto cardboard to create a collage effect.

You can find out more about Rachel on her Facebook page: I printed that
You can also find out more at https://www.iprintedthat.com
All sessions at the Virtual Village Hall are free to join. If you can’t make any of our live sessions throughout Upcycling Week, you can watch back later along with all previous content, on Facebook and the Virtual Village Hall website.

A Gel Plate is required for this technique. They can be bought from all good art shops or made using the instructions here:
For this session you will need:
- A design, no bigger than your Gel Plate
- Pencil
- Tracing paper
- A selection of paper and cardboard saved from the recycling bin
- Scissors and a craft knife
- Glue stick
- Acrylic paints in your choice of colours
- Gel Plate
- Cartridge paper
Please note all videos on the Virtual Village Hall are FREE to watch and no payment is needed, but donations to Royal Voluntary Service are appreciated.
