October email to every one of our members!

 Dear Brixham WI Member,

We are looking forward to seeing you again at our next Institute meeting on Wednesday 19th October at the Cricket Club for a 2pm start.
#Come along ready for a testing experience! Please bring your mug and a single bloom from your garden for the flower competition. Also your name badge! On the reverse of that badge, please write the name and number of your next of kin or person you wish to be contacted in case of emergency. If there is any urgent medical information of which we should be aware, please include that, too. We hope  that we will never have to read the back of your badge!
#In November we have the Margaret Seaward Exhibition - a chance for you to bring an item you have created especially for this exhibition - photo, drawing, sewing, painting, poem, flower arrangement, baked item, crochet, modern dance.....whatever you can create! The theme is 'Gold'. Please enter!
#Devon Federation is emailing new members with a survey - please respond! It will help them to provide what we need!
#Do you want to play skittles on Wednesday 2nd November, 2 - 4pm at the Cricket Club? Please bring an envelope marked with your name, containing £2.
#Would you like to come to our fun Dabble Day to try a variety of Christmas crafts? Wednesday 9th November 10 until 4 at Brixham Rugby Club? Please bring £10 in an envelope marked with your name.
#A suggestion has been made for us to collect items to donate to the food bank. Who would like to transport the bags from the Cricket Club to the food bank? When we did this before there were three or four heavy bags full of generously donated tins and packets each month.
#And finally..... when you arrive on Wednesday 19th,  Tina will hand you a ticket with your table name for the afternoon. We hope you will enjoy getting to know some different WI members this month!
#Please check the blog brixhamwi.blogspot.com or our Facebook page to find out what is happening each week.
Best wishes from your committee
