This scarf making project seems to be appealing to more and more of our members! It is a great way for us to be involved and feel that we are all doing something together, whilst being apart! Knitting, crochet, weaving..... 6” x 60” is the size, any pattern, any style. Dark colours preferred, but most of us are using up oddments, so multi coloured may be the order of the day! When you have finished your scarf, seal it into a plastic bag and write the date you sealed it. Then the folk distributing the scarves will know they are virus free. We are hoping to find somewhere local to donate them (we have our best person on that task!) - if not, we will send them to The Cumbria Way Homeless Scarf Challenge 2021. They are looking to receive 73,000 scarves!
