Our Christmas Party

Our meeting today was a great start to the Christmas season! A gorgeous array of food, Bucks Fizz, very generous donations to the Yes!Brixham food bank, delightful raffle prizes and excellent entertainment by Missin’ Tackle. They began by singing Jerusalem with us, and it was wonderful! Jean and Aldene won the handbag game in style and we all had a very sociable afternoon. Thank you to everyone for making it such a success!

Committee goes out on the town!

We enjoyed a great evening at the Upside Bar in Paignton (opposite the station and along a bit). The food was absolutely superb and the company top notch! So sorry Jan DW wasn’t able to make it.

We take being on the committee very seriously indeed - as you can see! 😜

Cribbage on Wednesday, 2 o’clock.

THE VENUE HAS CHANGED. TINA HAS ARRANGED FOR US TO GO TO

BRIXHAM RUGBY CLUB PLAYERS BAR, as golf club has a big lunch on.

PLEASE LET TINA KNOW YOU HAVE SEEN THIS!

What is your score in this hand?

Tuesday coffee morning lunch - on Monday! 🤩

Our monthly coffee morning regulars enjoyed a very lovely time over lunch at the Berry Head Hotel. We thought that next year we might transform the November coffee morning into lunch instead of December, as all of us had at least one more Christmas meal ahead of us this week. Not so much going on in November, so that could be preferable!

We covered a wide range of topics, as usual, including Christmas food in the 70s - look out for cheese and pineapple hedgehogs, vol au vents and black forest gateaux on our Christmas party table next week!

This beautiful card; could it be the subject of a craft afternoon next year?

A message from Jayne about Thursday:

If anyone coming to colouring would like lunch, please let me know. I need to liaise with the golf club.

WhatsApp or email or my phone.
