Prawle Point & Life on the Edge
Book Worms report from Rebecca
A very small number of us bookworms met Wednesday at the golf club. We had been reading Margaret Foster ‘Keeping the world away’. Enjoyed by some with a slow start to it, given up on by some of us! After a lovely catch up and putting the world to right we took home this months book. Which is Anne Tyler ‘French braid’. We do have one space in our group if you’d like to join us. We’re a friendly group who discuss everything you can think of as much as the books!
Other books read this month include The Misremembered man, conclave, shard lake and onyx storm

NFWI Annual Meeting - a virtual one this year.
The NFWI Annual Meeting is this week! On Wednesday, Lynn, our President will be settling in all day to watch proceedings and vote for us on the resolution. There will be a business meeting to begin with, discussing the changes to be made because of the Companies Act. Following that there will be two speakers: Angel Strawbridge (of Escape to the Chateau) and Emma Bridgwater who has designed and manufactured a new WI mug, on sale now.
