Thursday Afternoon Murder Club!

 Our Thursday Afternoon Murder Club held a sleuthing afternoon at Churston Golf Club today! After a delicious lunch, served by very the patient and kind people at the Golf Club, we moved on to our murder mystery game. Thank you to Jacquie for the equipment, and to Moira for running the game! Everyone played their parts extremely well, and it was great fun!

Thank you to Carol for setting us off down this particular road, which we shall resume after the summer!

Wednesday afternoon card making

 The card making afternoon was very successful, yesterday, with these lovely results! Well done everyone! 

DFWI Spring Council Meeting

Evelyn Watson, our County Chair, introduced the meeting by encouraging all Devon WIs to adopt and embrace change as we are all becoming used to meeting together again.

There were two very different and interesting presentations this morning at the Spring Council meeting: one gave us a whistle stop tour of the pelvic floor muscles and the other a very positive and optimistic look at climate change.

Essentially, the message from our Chair and both speakers is that we can make a difference - in all areas of our lives!

Tuesday Walk

 What a lovely, sociable walk this morning - along the breakwater and then adjourning to the café, of course! Thank you all for your company, Gail, Mandy, Pat, Carol Roberts, Jean Bartlett, Susan Francis and Pam (Dennis Easby). Same time, same place, next week!
