We all enjoyed Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo and agreed that the characters were sympathetic and that they faced many of the same dilemmas and situations that we all have to deal with at some time in life.
We also discussed two books which were recently adapted for television but were careful not to give away the endings because not everyone had seen them!
