A good moment to participate?

 Things you can do:

  • Download or order posters, stickers, postcards - and use them in activities with your WIs meetings, drop-ins and events you’re already planning (you can get all the campaign resources here).
  • Spell out the word 'Hope' - take a photo and share it with us. You can tag @1mactsofhope on most social media, and use the hashtag #MillionActsOfHope. Do tag the NFWI too :)
  • Create a ‘hope wall’ - with messages from your community on what they hope for locally or what gives them hope.
You could also host a 'Hopeful event'. There are lots of tips on how to do this on the campaign web page:
  • Share a cup of tea with your neighbour - arrange to talk to someone you might not have spoken to before.
  • Host a nature walk or litter pick - celebrate the natural beauty of your area and encourage people to get outside.
  • Create a swap shop for local people to bring and share food together or donate and swap items with others.
  • Celebrate volunteers - run a thank you event.
  • Host a ‘Hope Happens Here’ event; run a street party or event in your local park centred on hope, fun, and celebrating where you live.
There are lots of resources in the campaign's Community Hub, which you find here: https://millionactsofhope.org/community-hub, and you can let the team know what you're planning - and order resources - here.

Enjoy spreading hope!
